Yachting delivery skipper has had a busy time lately, and this month starts his way back from "Beef Island" (Tortola) to Guernsey. Steve started working for Yacht Deliveries last year, working part time for us as well as himself designing as an Artist, who is also currently looking at our web site! However, just lately Steve cant seem to get away from the water as we get ever increasingly busy, the more work we keep piling on him!!! Steve is just about to sail a Nichoson 35 with owner David Stone back from Beef Island to make it his third delivery this year for us in two months!
Mandy enlisted Yacht Deliveries after he had been let down by a shipping company who had initially said they would be able to fit his Nicholson 35 on a shipment before the end of May so not to left out there within the Hurricane season. When David had been left off the shipment he was obviously panicking! The yacht had to leave before the end of May as the Insurance Company had refused to insure it further whilst it was there. We had our crew ready in a week, and they arrived there just 12 days after David had asked us to help.
Richard's last delivery was a Warrirerewror 40', Ocean Rainbow, from Bangor to Brixham earlier this month. This was also a last minute delivery, when owner Mike Sandershad to rush to his hospitalised wife. He contracted Yachting, who had the crew ready within days. Philip was delighted with our service and wrote: "Thanks for fitting me in a short notice, much appreciated. Well pleased with the crew you supplied, very professional, would have no hesitation in recommending your services, well done!"
